Nourishing the old King through the winter…
Although I haven’t seen it much in the West, foresters in China give “IV drips” to older trees here, to help them with the right nutrition if their root system is not performing well. That is why the Cypress King has bottles of IV nutrition supplements hanging from the tree. It’s a bit like taking a vitamin and mineral supplement.
